Buoyed by a half-century by Rana Naved Ul-Hasan, Lahore Badshahs scored a emphatic seven-wicket win over Chandigarh Lions in a match of the the Indian Cricket League's Twenty20 tournament being played at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3 on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 137 runs in the allotted 20 overs, Badshahs were given a fine start as their openers Imran Nazir and Imran Farhat were associated in a 33-run stand for the first wicket. After the departure of nazir and farhat, Shaid Yousuf joined hasan who blasted the Lions' opposition. After Shahid Yousuf departed after making 28 in the 14th over, Hasan and Khalid Mahmood guided Badshahs to victory. Earlier, Chandigarh Lions posted a total of 136 for 20 overs. Lou Vincent was the top scorer for Lions playing an unbeaten knock 33 runs while TP Singh scored 28 runs.
