Opening batsman Harvey produced one of the finest knocks of the tournament and came up with an important partnership fellow opener G Vignesh. The duo added 70 runs in 5.4 overs. with Harvey racing to 49 in just 21 deliveries. His innings was embellished with five sixes and three fours.
Vignesh (32) wisely chose to play the supporting role, though he didn't spare the loose ball, smashing five fours in his 27-ball knock. But the innings progressively slowed down with the departure of the two, Harvey caught in the covers by Chris Harris off left arm spinner PIS Reddy and Vignesh taken by wicketkeeper off spinner Niki Boje.
From a high of almost 12 per over, the scoring kept going down as only Hemant Badani really got going. Badani contributed 20 as Hemanth Kumar (11) and Stuart Law (12), made a valiant attempt to keep the rate up.
